Louise "Red" Wiley, 74, of Haywood City, Mo., died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Feb. 5, 1928, to Harry and Lorean Hardin Jones in Shuqualak, Miss. She was married to Thomas Wiley Jan. 27, 1960. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of New Morning Star Baptist Church in Haywood City.
Wiley is survived by a son, Thomas Wiley Jr.; a daughter, Linda Williams; three brothers, Kenny Jones of Sikeston, Harry Jones of La Vergne, Tenn., and Willie Jones of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Mary Hardin and Mattie Ford of St. Louis, Estella Sharp of Haywood City and Alberta Davis of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceeded by her parents.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the New Morning Star Baptist Church, followed at 1 p.m. by the funeral with the Rev. Alex Sims officiating. Burial will be in the Haywood City Cemetery. Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
