LOUISE SMITH

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Louise Smith, 69, of Jonesboro died Saturday, July 6, 1996, at her home.

She was born June 1, 1927, at Lamasco, Ky., daughter of William and Naomi Faughn Salyers. She married Kenneth Long Sr. and later married Johnie Smith.

She was a homemaker and attended the Anna Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Johnnie Ray Smith of Anna, Ill., and Rocky and Kevin Smith, both of Jonesboro; five daughters, Sue Hannahs of Brainerd, Minn., Judy Johnson, Betty Powles and Karen Alsip, all of Jonesboro, and Anna Camden of Dongola, Ill.; a brother, Cecil Salyers of Jonesboro; two sisters, Ann Middleton of Anna and Grace Fox of Jonesboro; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at Hileman & Parr Funeral Services at Jonesboro.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Scott Harner will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.
