LOUISE PALMER

Louise N. Palmer, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Sept. 20, 1913, at Bell City, Mo., daughter of Elijah and Laura Adcock Kelso. She and Leonard Palmer were married Sept. 21, 1929, at Bowling Green, Ohio. He died July 30, 1980.

She had lived in Cape Girardeau for seven years and previously had lived in Wolf Lake, Ill.

Survivors include two sons, Leon Palmer of Cape Girardeau and Cletus W. Palmer of Wolf Lake, Ill.; a daughter, Oleva Carter of Mount Vernon, Ill.; a brother, Harve Kelso of Bell City; a sister, Ethel Metcalf of Bloomfield, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Chapel.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate.
