LOUISE KASTEN

JACKSON -- Louise M. Kasten, 76, of Jackson died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born June 19, 1922, at Gordonville, daughter of Charles and Anna Romine Borchers. She and Milton "Jim" Kasten were married July 17, 1955. He died Jan. 26, 1990.

She worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill a number of years and assisted her husband on their farm in Jackson.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville. She was also a member of the Concordia Guild and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include a sister, Leanna Kuntze of Fishkill, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate with burial in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
