Louise Pauline Grojean, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Louis and Anna Hargens Bierschwal. She and Gene Crenshaw were married Feb. 12, 1944, in Cape Girar-deau. She later married Char-les "Sonny" Grojean Aug. 22, 1975, in Gordonville. He died Jan. 11, 2004...

Louise Pauline Grojean, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Louis and Anna Hargens Bierschwal. She and Gene Crenshaw were married Feb. 12, 1944, in Cape Girar-deau. She later married Char-les "Sonny" Grojean Aug. 22, 1975, in Gordonville. He died Jan. 11, 2004.

Mrs. Grojean had worked for International Shoe Co., P.N. Hirsch, and was a social worker for Head Start. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

She was the loving mother of Linda Bollinger of Cape Girar-deau, Alan (Sondra) Crenshaw of Jackson and Mark Crenshaw of Miami, Fla. She was also the loving stepmom of Ken (Judy) Grojean of San Antonio, Texas, Karen Bazzell of Cape Girardeau, Kay (Joe) Hunter of Sikeston, Mo.; grandmother to Catherine (Robert) Kraus, Michael (Betty) Crenshaw, Russ Bollinger, Michael and Michelle Grojean, Kim, Lisa and Carrie Jo Bazzell, and Nick and Sarah Greer. She is also survived by four great-grandsons, Calvin, William, Andrew and Ryan; a brother, Edward (Wanda) Bierschwal of Cape Girardeau; and a sister, Evelyn (Carrol) Statler of Kempton, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Bierschwal.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Moon officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
