Louise C. Burbach, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 20, 1931, in New Orleans, to Andrew J. and Gladys Olga Duplaisir Regan. She and Raymond F. Burbach were married April 30, 1958, in Gretna, La.
Burbach was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in St. Charles, Mo., where she was also a member of a neighborhood prayer group. She had been involved in Girl Scouts and was an avid painter and candlemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Burbach of Sedgewickville, Mo.; a daughter, Deborah Ann Byrd and husband Danny of Sedgewickville; two grandchildren, Daniel Byrd of Indianapolis, Rachel Byrd of Sedgewickville; two great-grandchildren, Marissa and Caidyn Byrd of Sedgewickville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a great-grandchild, Johnnie Byrd.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
