Funeral service for Louise M. Bruenderman, 3120 Independence, will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Bruenderman, 79, died Thursday, July 11, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 28, 1917, in Charleston, daughter of Alfred George and Nettie Telker Carlisle. She married Raymond Bruenderman May, 13, 1935, in Charleston.
Bruenderman was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Vincent's Women's Council. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1960 from Charleston and worked with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Joseph Bruenderman of Festus, Donald Bruenderman of Charleston, William Bruenderman of Pana, Ill., John Bruenderman of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Mary Ellen Hails of Evansville, Ind., Rose Ann Nadler of Fenton; a brother, Alfred Carlisle of Raymore; three sisters, Elizabeth Bonifield of Bell City, Regina Bruenderman and Francis Duff of Charleston; 18 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
