SIKESTON, Mo. -- The funeral for Louise Boston of Little Rock, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Rufus McLean will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from noon until service time.
Boston, 93, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
She was born Aug. 22, 1909, in Murray, Ky., daughter of Herman and Zadie Wells Bridges. She and Roy C. Boston were married June 2, 1928, in Cairo, Ill. He died Feb. 14, 1986.
Formerly of Sikeston, she owned and operated Boston's Grocery and Boston's Dairy Cream. She was a member of Hunter Memorial First Presbyterian Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include a son, Larry Boston of Little Rock; two sisters, Mary Riddle of Mayfield, Ky., Willa Miller of Anna, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
