LOUISE BAUER

BENTON, Mo. -- Louise Marie Bauer, 94, of Benton died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 12, 1906, at St. Louis, daughter of Charles and Sophie Lahr Schabhan.

She and Wilbert Elmer Bauer were married June 16, 1928, at St. Louis.

She moved to Benton from the St. Louis area about four years ago.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Bill Bauer of Boerne, Texas, and Charles Bauer of Benton; a sister, Dorothy Zingrich of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a grandson and a great-grandson.

Funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel in St. Louis, with the Rev. Bill Bauer officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 12:30 p.m. Monday. Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
