MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Louis A. "Doc" Null, 94, of Marble Hill passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 14, 1927, in Lutesville, Missouri, son of Leander H. and Louisa B. Beel Null. He and Mary Jean Elledge were united in marriage April 16, 1948.
Louis was a farmer, served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of Little Valley Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean; son, the Rev. Jim (Naomi) Null of Marble Hill; daughter, Linda Soder (T.C. Hertweck) of Marble Hill; sister, Melba Huffman of McClure, Illinois; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John and Glenn Null; and sisters, Elsie Crites, Mildred VanGennip, Dorothy Woodfin, Maud Crites, Clara Ford and Alma Carpenter.
Visitation was Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Little Valley Church, with the Rev. T.J. Null and the Rev. Jim Null officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
