SIKESTON -- Louis L. Jackman, 42, of Monterey, Calif., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1992, at his home.

He was born March 5, 1950, at Sikeston, son of Fred L. and Reva Holifield Jackman Jr.

Jackman was a 1969 graduate of Sikeston High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a Green Beret.

Survivors include a son and daughter, Jamie and Melissa Jackman of Brookfield; his mother, Reva Ryan of Sikeston, and a brother, Russell Ryan of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. John Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, with military graveside rites.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
