LOUIS H. WALLS

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Louis H. Walls of McAlester, Okla., formerly of Sikeston, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Tom Walls will officiate, with burial in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.

Walls, 93, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1993, at Colonial Park Nursing Home in McAlester.

He was born Sept. 2, 1900, in Dexter, son of James W. and Flora Cansada Giles Walls. He and Lelia Fay Oliver were married Dec. 9, 1939, in Charleston. She died July 6, 1974.

Walls was a retired custodian with city of Sikeston and Sikeston Public Library. He formerly worked for Scott County Milling Co., and E.P. Coleman and Co.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Walls of St. Peters, James Walls of McAlester, Rev. Thomas Walls of Campbellsville; five grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter, and a great-stepgranddaughter.

He was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters.
