Louis H. Hirsch, 90, of St. Louis, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 1991, at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, following a lengthy illness.
He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois.
Hirsch was employed 42 years with Century Electric Co. in St. Louis, 16 of which he was chief engineer. He retired in 1967.
He was a member of St. Louis Engineers Club, National Electrical Manufacturers Association, and American Institute of Electrical Engineers. He had been active in Boy Scouts.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey; three sons, Thomas Hirsch of Holiday Shores, Ill., David Hirsch of Bushnell, Ill., Michael Hirsch of Florissant; two brothers, Oscar and Ralph Hirsch of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Helen Workman of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Hope United Church of Christ in St. Louis. Entombment will be in Oak Grove Mausoleum in St. Louis County.
