SIKESTON -- Louis "Mike" "Peanut" Griffin, 38, of Sikeston died Friday, Sept. 20, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born March 10, 1958, in Sikeston, son of Robert and Mary Dixon Griffin.
Griffin was a 1978 graduate of Sikeston High School. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a daughter, Angel White; a son, Michael White; his parents; two sisters, Anna King and Melinda Griffin; paternal grandmother, Vastie Griffin; and maternal grandmother, Louise Dixon, all of Sikeston.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Flem E. Bronner officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 11 a.m. to service time.
