Louis Cordia
ST. LOUIS -- Louis E. Cordia, 85, of St. Louis, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection Sunday, June 1, 2008, at his home.
He was born at Richwoods, Mo., son of John Henry and Louise Cordia.
Cordia retired as a truck driver with a freight company.
He was a veteran of World War II.
Cordia was the beloved husband of Connie Stout Cordia 28 years; dearest father of Gene (Pam), Mike (Verna), Helen (Mike) Farrar, Alice, David, Wayne, Ralph (Cindy) Cordia, Michael (Sharene) and Stanley (Denise) Brown; loving grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of eight; dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Kutis South County Chapel.
The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Kleba officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association will be appreciated.
