Memorial services for Louis Campbell Brinkopf, 68, of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
The Rev. Joseph Rowley, pastor of the Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson, will officiate. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Brinkopf, the son of the late Benjamin Robert and Margaret Campbell Brinkopf of Cape Girardeau, died Oct. 26, 2017, at the Arbors.
A graduate of Cape Central High School, he held a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. As a heavy-equipment supervisor with the R.B. Potashnick Construction Co., he worked on projects in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Los Angeles and Las Vegas before engaging in farm operations in Cape Girardeau County.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Paul (Clotilda Ann) of Naples, Florida; a sister, Anne Brinkopf of Chicago; a nephew, Benjamin (Radhika) Brinkopf of Dallas; and a niece, Mary Margaret Brinkopf of Los Angeles.
The family suggests memorials to the Safe House for Women in Cape Girardeau or the Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson.
