ANNA, Ill. -- Louie D. Miller, 83, of Anna died Thursday, March 5, 1998, at Union County Hospital.
He was born in September 1914, in Pomona, son of Jesse and Anna Duty Miller. He and Gladys M. Jones were married Nov. 7, 1936, in Jonesboro. She died March 19, 1997.
Miller was a retired carpenter, and member of Anna United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Miller of Elgin; a son, Norman Miller of Effingham; a brother, Loren Miller of Anna; two sisters, Edna Gold of Eureka, Gladys Smith of Roanoke; two grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Anna United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
