JONESBORO, Ill. Louie Joe Turner, 63, of Wickliffe, Ky., formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Friday, March 25, 1995, at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
He was born April 18, 1930, at Jonesboro, son of Louie E. and Nona Redman Turner.
He married Shirley Miller, April 12, 1952, at Jonesboro.
Turner was truck driver.
He served in U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
Turner was a life member of the D.A.V.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Dale Turner, Robert Turner and Kent Turner, all of Wickliffe, Ky.; three daughters, Donna Lea Turner of Wickliffe, Debra K. Spurlock of Hamilton, Ill., Janet Dickey of Irving, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Ryan of McClure, Ill., Vesta Bittle of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Dowdy officiating.
Burial will follow Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Wickliffe, Ky.
