MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Funeral for Louie D. Doublin of Sesser will be held at 11 a.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. Jim Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery at Wickliffe, Ky.

There is no visitation.

Doublin, 54, died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Franklin Hospital in Benton.

He was born June 26, 1944, in Wickliffe, son of Shelton and Louise Barrow Doublin. He was formerly of Mound City.

Survivors include a son, Leon Blankenship of LaCenter, Ky.; three brothers, Donnie Doublin of Cairo, Paul Doublin of Paducah, Ky., Ralph Doublin of Smithland, Ky.; and a sister, Marie Dodd of Olive Branch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
