Louella Lanigan, 69, of Jackson passed away Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 17, 1940, in Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Lee and Maudie Mae Cook Estes. She and James David Lanigan were married June 25, 1960.

Louella was a member of First Baptist Church in Millersville.

Survivors include her husband, James D. Lanigan of Jackson; three sons, David Allen Lanigan of Marble Hill, Mo., James Bradley and Michael Timothy Lanigan of Jackson; a daughter, Leslie Ann Keith of Marble Hill; a sister, Helen Miller of Marble Hill; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Shelby, Lee Jay, Frank, Don and J.D. Estes; two sisters, L.B. Long and L.D. Estes.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
