SHAWNEETOWN -- Lorraine Fiedler, 80, of Shawneetown died Monday, Dec. 11, 1995, at the Lutheran Home in Jackson.
She was born Feb. 14, 1915, at Shawneetown to Charles and Dora Starzinger Schlimpert.
She married Arthur "Addie" Fiedler on May 13, 1934. He died Jan. 24, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Fiedler of Green Bay, Wis.; four daughters, Jeaniece Reimer and Cherlyn Parham, both of Jackson, Carolyn Fiedler of Paraguay and Charlene Clark of St. Charles; three brothers, Lawrence Schlimpert of St. Louis, Edgar Schlimpert of Concordia and Clarence Schlimpert of Shawneetown; two sisters, Gertrude Meyr of Chaffee and Bernice Lorenz of Shawneetown; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter.
Fiedler was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Shawneetown. She was active in the Ladies Aid at the church and resided at the Lutheran Home for the past 10 years.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Shawneetown, where funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate, and burial will be in the Shawneetown Cemetery.
