Lorraine Lucille Bagwell, 84, of Pilot Knob, Mo., formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, in Crystal City, Mo.
She was born Jan. 29, 1929, in St. Louis, daughter of Clifford and Dorothy Steimke Bonenberger. She and Joe Thomas Bagwell were married June 7, 1959. He preceded her in death Oct. 16, 1993.
Lorraine is survived by seven children, Edward Griffith of Cahokia, Ill., Lucille Griffith of St. Louis, Raymond Griffith of Mesa, Ariz., Agnes (Paul) McCormack and Janice Letho of Kalamazoo, Mich., Thomas (Becca) Bagwell of Las Vegas and Anita (Jim) Colyott of Ironton, Mo.; two brothers, Harold Bonenberger of St. Louis and Bobby Bonenberger of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Betty Meredith of Scott City, Barbara Ann Vigen of Bemidji, Minn., and Ruth Chetovsky of Fenton, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Bagwell.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Interment with committal service will be Friday at 11:15 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
