Lori Emmons

Lori Ann Emmons, 55, of Jackson passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 5, 1968, in Cape Girardeau to Kenneth and Martha Stroder Hett. She and Duane Emmons were married Nov. 15, 1986, in Cape Girardeau.

She was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of 1986.

She was the head custodian for the Jackson School District.

Survivors include her Husband; son, Austin (Tiffany) Emmons of Marble Hill, Missouri; five daughters, Ashley Emmons of Jackson, Ashlen (Devon) Campbell of Marble Hill, Aspen (Brittney) Brandon of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Arielle Emmons of Herculaneum, Missouri, and Addison Emmons of Jackson; nine grandchildren, Kailyn Emmons, Lawson Emmons, Kinslee Emmons, Berklee Emmons, Beckett Emmons, Charles Campbell and Oliver Campbell of Marble Hill and Wynter Emmons and Wryn Emmons of Jackson; she is also survived by one sister.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Lisa.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 1, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
