PATTON -- Loretta Ruth Welker, 77, of Patton died Friday, April 28, 2000, at her home.
Welker was born Nov. 6, 1922, at Fredericktown, daughter of Walter K. and Jettie Sebaugh Mungle. She and Carl D. Welker were married March 16, 1944. He died Jan. 25, 1979.
Welker was a member of the Reagan Chapel Methodist Church in Patton and president of the Happy Old People.
Survivors include a son, Ivan Welker of Sedgewickville; two daughters, Sue Gant of Kansas City and Linda Seabaugh of Patton; three brothers, Harry Mungle of Fredericktown, Ed Mungle of Patton, and Sam Mungle of Marble Hill; two sisters, Ethel Marshall of Wood River, Ill., and Janet Schaefer of Fredericktown; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Reagan Chapel Methodist Church, with the Rev. W.D. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Reagan Chapel Cemetery.
