BENTON -- Funeral service for Loretta K. Harris, Benton Route 1, was held Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Dennis Gregory officiated, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Harris, 70, was found dead Sunday, May 26, 1996, at her home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1925, in Owensville, daughter of Abner N. and Ella Nora Rector Pritz. She and Raymond Harris were married April 14, 1951, in St. Louis.
Harris had been a cook at Holiday Inn and at Trinity Lutheran Day Care in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Delores Koch and Betty Hency of Cape Girardeau, Jeannie Baker of Henning, Tenn., Linda Hyde of Sikeston; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
