CHARLESTON -- Loretta Craig Mims, 49, of Charleston died March 14, 1998, at her home.

She was born Dec. 30, 1948, in Dorena, daughter of James E. "Paul" and Annie Canady Craig.

She was a member of the Mercy Seat Baptist Church, a 4-H club leader and a member of the Bridge Club.

She is survived by her mother; two sons, Joe L. Craig of Atlanta, and Dimeggo Mims of Kalamazoo, Mich; two daughters, Donna R. Craig and Mary C. Mims, both of Kalamazoo; five sisters, Luella Robinson of St. Louis, Barbara Murray and Shirley Smith, both of Charleston, Katherlean Anderson of Kalamazoo and Brenda Burnett of Ypsilanti, Mich.; seven brothers, Carl Lee Craig of Akron, Ohio, Joe Nathan Craig and Terry Bruce Craig, both of Charleston, Paul Edward Craig of Richmond, Calif., James Tyron Craig of Kansas City, Kan., Timothy Leron Craig of Atlanta, Fredrick Kelly Craig, of Camp Pendleton, Calif.,; and four grandchildren.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sparks Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. J. L. Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.

Friends may call between 6 and 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
