LORETA KLEIN

MARBLE HILL -- Funeral service for Loreta E. Klein of Marble Hill will be held at 1 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The Rev. Fred Ritter will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Klein, 72, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, at Bond Nursing Care Center.

She was born May 29, 1924, near Marble Hill, daughter of William L. and Nellie Baker Cook. She and Leslie Klein were married Oct. 14, 1956. He died July 16, 1969.

Klein was a teller at Security Bank and Trust Co. more than 20 years. She and her husband also co-owned a nursery many years. She had been a chairperson for Bollinger County Cancer Society. She was a member of First Baptist Church and active in various church organizations.

Survivors include cousins.
