Lorene Taylor, 88, of Burfordville died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Jackson Manor in Jackson. She was born Dec. 9, 1918, in Macomb, Okla., daughter of Joseph and Minnie Collins Davis. She and Arthur S. Taylor were married Feb. 13, 1937. He died Sept. 18, 1994...

Lorene Taylor, 88, of Burfordville died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born Dec. 9, 1918, in Macomb, Okla., daughter of Joseph and Minnie Collins Davis. She and Arthur S. Taylor were married Feb. 13, 1937. He died Sept. 18, 1994.

Taylor moved to Burfordville from Fillmore, Calif.

Survivors include a son, Bob Taylor of Vancouver, British Columbia; two daughters, Billie Howard of Burfordville, Janie Young of Oakdale, Calif.; a sister, Opal Keith of West Plains, Mo.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating.
