LORENE RUESSLER

PERRYVILLE -- Lorene Ruessler, 71, of Perryville, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Perry County, daughter of Sebastian and Myrtle Gibbar Pecaut. She and Fred Ruessler were married March 14, 1942. He died Oct. 17, 1988.

Ruessler had been a side and heel laster at International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel and Robert Ruessler of Perryville; four daughters, Judith Stortz, Connie Gibbar and Margie Tarrillion of Perryville, Kay Robins of Marble Hill; two brothers, Vince Pecaut of Farmington, Bob Pecaut of Perryville; a sister, Irene Hoehn of Perryville; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a stepgrandson, and a great-stepgrandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday. The parish wake will be at 7 tonight.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Gerry Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
