ORAN, Mo. -- Lorene Patterson, 87, of Oran died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born June 5, 1920, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of William King and Myrtle Richards Russell. She and Lee Patterson were married Aug. 31, 1940. He died March 11, 1977.
Patterson was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Miami, Fla.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Patterson of Oran; three daughters, Dorothy Lee Black of Jackson, Linda Pelton of Medina, Ohio, Deborah Kessler of Cookeville, Tenn.; two brothers, O.F. "Bob" Russell of Dexter, Mo., Bill Russell of Trout Dale, Va.; a sister, Frances McIver of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens at Morley, Mo.
