LORENE MORLEY

PARMA -- Lorene Morley, 79, of Parma died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Gideon Care Center in Gideon.

She was born June 24, 1920, in Reyno, Ark., daughter of Dennis and Donna Kirby Johnson. She and John Marvin Morley were married March 27, 1939, in Reyno. He died May 25, 1997.

Morley had lived at Parma since 1952.

Survivors include six sons, Adell and Wayne Morley of Parma, Eugene Morley of Yuma, Ariz., George Morley of Kennett, Calvin Morley of Lake City, Ark., Billy Morley of Bernie; three daughters, Peggy Atteberry of Naylor, Betty Jordan of Coushatta, La., and Dessie Babb of Clarkton.

Also surviving are three brothers, Thurston and Paul Johnson of Pocahontas, Ark., Larry Johnson of Reyno; three sisters, Patsy Ogle of Scottsville, Ky., Imogene Reed of Pocahontas, Ark., Billie Locket of Mountain View, Mo.; 37 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, and five sisters.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chuck Pipkins officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
