FRIEDHEIM -- Funeral for Lorene A. Friese of Friedheim will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Revs. Wayne Palmer and Adam Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Friese, 93, died Monday, June 7, 1999, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 1, 1906, daughter of Louis and Friederike Oehl Klaus. She and Herbert F. Friese were married Nov. 8, 1928, at Friedheim. He died May 29, 1982.
Friese was involved with H.F. Friese Feed and Trucking, a family business, for 65 years. She was a life member of Trinity Church and a member of its Ladies Aid.
Survivors are a son, Nelson Friese of Friedheim; two daughters, Gladys Strong and Ruth Moneyhun, both of Jackson; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, five sisters, three half brothers, seven half sisters and a great-grandchild.
