SCOTT CITY -- Lorene Davis, 83, of Scott City, died Sunday, March 6, 1994, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 16, 1910, at Pollard, Ark., daughter of William and Annie Barnwell Russom.
She married Herman Edward Davis, Dec. 23, 1930, at Cobden, Ill. He died Oct. 29, 1973.
Davis worked as a machine operator for the Ely Walker Factory.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.
Survivors include a son, Bill Davis of Scott City; two daughters, Gloria Huffman of Murphysboro, Ill., Joan Pell of Scott City; a sister, Gloria Ruth Marlow of Cahokia, Ill.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Scott City, with the Rev. William Dickey officiating.
Burial will follow in Lightner Cemetery.
