Lorena Enderle

NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Lorena Marie Enderle, 92, of New Hamburg died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at Saxony Village in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 21, 1916, at New Hamburg, daughter of Leo and Alvina Klipfel Gosche. She and Anton "Tony" Enderle were married May 20, 1944. He died Aug. 3, 1995.

Lorena retired from housekeeping at the Victorian Inn in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg and St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include a son, Michael Enderle of Modesto, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Rose Enderle of Kansas City, Kan., Katie Wilder of Chaffee, Mo.; and a grandchild, Bryan Enderle of Davis, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 6.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Church, with the Rev. Michael Casteel officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in New Hamburg.
