Lorena Regina Berghoff, 100, of Scott City died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at the home of her daughter.
She was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Kelso, Mo., to Daniel J. and Bertha Blattel Georger. She married Theodore Joseph Berghoff on Nov. 14, 1933, in Kelso. He preceded her in death Feb. 25, 1987.
Lorena was a cook at Sands Pancake House in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by a son, Leo (Hilda) Berghoff of Kelso; a daughter, Betty Calhoun of Scott City; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a great-grandson, Tyler Glaus.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral chapel in Scott City. Parish rosary will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery in Kelso.
