LORENA BASHAM

BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- Lorena Jones Basham, 89, of Anna, Ill., died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at the Willow Creek Rehab Center in Belleville, Ill.

Basham was born Oct. 5, 1911, at Cypress, Ill., daughter of William and Mirtie Daywalt Jones. She and Harlan Basham were married.

Basham was a member of the Nazarene Church in Anna and a past member of the West Eden Methodist Church near Cypress.

Survivors include her husband and several neices and nephews

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill., from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Revs. Marion Mosley and Dr. Richard Keeley will officiate. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery at Cypress.
