Lorean Springer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- M. Lorean Springer, 87, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 12, 1921, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Charles Wilson and Mary Josephine Reiss Bishop. She and Homer Springer were married Feb. 7, 1944. He died March 31, 1991.

Springer was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Springer of Perryville, Janet "Jan" Johnston of Wildwood, Mo.; a sister, Martha Behrle of Tipton, Iowa; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home and from noon to service time at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
