ADVANCE, Mo. -- Loran Wilbourn Wallace, 85, of Advance died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Advance Nursing Center.
He was born Nov. 16, 1920, at Zalma, Mo., son of Curtis and Cora Corjine Wallace. He and Altie Mae Peters were married in December 1940. She died Jan. 3, 1973.
Wallace was a farm laborer.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Edgar Wallace of Illinois, Bobbie Wallace of Zalma, Darrell Wallace of Campbell, Mo.; four daughters, Linda Gisiler of Carlinville, Ill., Thelma Heyen of Medora, Ill., Marsha Isabell and Bonnie Thomas of Benld, Ill., a half brother, Delbert Wallace of Illinois; a sister, Bertha Burkman of Advance; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons, four daughters and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy, Mo.
