DEXTER, Mo. -- Loran L. "Bo" Cartwright, son of the late Levi Delias Cartwright and Winnie McCollum Cartwright, was born March 4, 1944, in Toppertown, Missouri, and departed this life Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, in the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 73 years...

DEXTER, Mo. -- Loran L. "Bo" Cartwright, son of the late Levi Delias Cartwright and Winnie McCollum Cartwright, was born March 4, 1944, in Toppertown, Missouri, and departed this life Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, in the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter at the age of 73 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He formerly worked as a cross-country pipeline mechanic and was a resident of rural Bloomfield, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Marilyn Miller on April 28, 1972, in Dexter. She survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Other survivors include a son, James Cartwright of Bloomfield; a daughter, Marcia (Matt) Enax of Robinson, Illinois; and a sister, Gail Stallion of Cape Girardeau.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Elizabeth Cartwright; two brothers, Jimmy and Clyde Cartwright; and two sisters, Glenda Link and Elizabeth Cartwright.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Steve Tippen officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
