PERRYVILLE -- Lora W. Thompson, 55, of Perryville died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Oct. 12, 1943, in Bentonville, Ark., daughter of Elmer J. and Velma Ramsey Ward.
She married Billy L. Thompson Dec. 24, 1960.
She was an executive Tupperware manager.
She is survived by her husband of Perryville; her parents of Springfield, Ill.; a son, Brent Lee Thompson of Farmington; three daughters, Annette Kay Thompson and Erika Lynn Hahn, both of Perryville, and Deborah Sue Bishop of Bellevue, Neb.; a sister, Mary Novacek of Springfield, Ill; a brother, Joe David Ward of Chatham, Ill.; a close friend, Robin Christy Ficht of St. Charles; 11 grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two siblings.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 today at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. Funeral will be at 3 today at the chapel.
Burial will be at Home Cemetery.
