Lonnie Stanley

M. "Lonnie" Stanley, 64, of Scott City died Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at his home.

He was born Jan. 6, 1954, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to Harry and Mary Stanko Palmer. He and Judy Briggen were married July 22, 1995, at Jackson.

Lonnie worked at Newell Rubbermaid in Jackson for 26 years.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Leible Stanley of Scott City; stepson, Rick (Joyce) Leible of Scott City; stepdaughters, Angie (Kenny) Massa of Scott City, Marsha Leible of Jackson and Dawn (Steven) Potter of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Rose Palmer of Dexter, Missouri; a niece, Michelle (Richard) Adams of Fisk, Missouri; a nephew, Michael Palmer of Dexter, Missouri; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenny Massa officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Crown Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
