CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Lonnie R. Henry, 49, of Charleston died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
He was born Feb. 13, 1952, in Charleston, son of Lanie and Edith Fulton Henry. He and Virgie Scott were married July 30, 1988.
Henry was a 1971 graduate of Charleston High School.
He was employed at Gates Rubber Co. Henry was a member of Holy Trinity Church of Deliverance, where he served as Sunday School superintendent, Timothy Crusader youth coach, member of the choir, trustee, and church state marshal.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Crystal Jones of Sikeston, Mo., LaConnida Scott of Charleston; a brother, Robert Henry of Bertrand, Mo.; two sisters, Alice Jones and Caseline Henry of Charleston; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Church after 6 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Elder Jesse McNeil officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
