BLOOMFIELD -- Lona Mae Williams, 82, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1992, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 1, 1910, at Bloomfield, daughter of Lowery and Elizabeth Davis Parmenter. She and Archie Williams were married in 1925. He died May 4, 1992.
Williams was a member of Bloomfield Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Williams of Burkburnett, Texas, James Williams of St. Louis, Gary Williams of Nashville, Tenn., Eddie Williams of Bloomfield; four daughters, Ann Ruddick of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Patsy Laxton of Centerville, Nancy White of Cape Girardeau, Kay Gillis of Dexter; a brother, Lowery Parmenter of Pekin, Ill.; 18 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel. Dale Grissom and Jim Faughn will officiate, with burial in Zion Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
