WYATT -- Funeral service for Lon Foster Hinchey of Wyatt will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Tom Bridges will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until time of service.
Hinchey, 69 years old, died Saturday, March 16, 1991, at his home.
He was born Feb. 28, 1922, in St. Louis, son of John Foster and Cora Powers Hinchey. He and the former Earline Brumley were married Dec. 30, 1951.
Hinchey lived in Collinsville, Ill., 20 years, where he was a truck driver with Krey Packing Co., retiring in 1979. He was a member of Teamsters Local 700 in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Jill Hinchey and Jo Peak of Collinsville, Jacquie Hodge of Wyatt, Jane Willbanks of Blanchard, Okla., Janet Click of Leasburg, Joan Metcalf of Elvins; a sister, Corinne Ayers of Dallas, Tex.; 14 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
