COBDEN, Ill. -- Lola Mae Pinkard, 68, of Cobden died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 1997, at City Care Center.
She was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Haleyville, Ala., daughter of Oscar and Lela Martin Southern. She and Olen Ray Pinkard were married Oct. 1, 1947, in Haleyville. He died Aug. 6, 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Reed of Harrietta, Mich., Kathy Sluss of Cobden; three sons, Michael and Ronald Pinkard of Cobden, Stephan Pinkard of Chicago; her mother of Graysville, Ala.; a sister, Edna Thomas of Warrior, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
