DONGOLA, Ill. -- Lola K. Miller, 88, of Dongola died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at her home. She was born Nov. 8, 1917, at Elco, Ill., daughter of Ernest Paul and Mary A. Guild Mowery. She and Don R. Miller were married March 23, 1940. He died Dec. 9, 1988...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Lola K. Miller, 88, of Dongola died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at her home.

She was born Nov. 8, 1917, at Elco, Ill., daughter of Ernest Paul and Mary A. Guild Mowery. She and Don R. Miller were married March 23, 1940. He died Dec. 9, 1988.

Miller attended First Baptist Church in Dongola.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary K. Land of Ullin, Ill.; two brothers, Ocal Mowery of Ullin, Delano Mowery of Anna, Ill.; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Dongola.
