LOLA MEIER

JACKSON -- Lola L. Meier, 77, of Jackson died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at Heritage Gardens in Jackson.

She was born April 23, 1921, at Jackson, daughter of Henry and Louise Westerhold Meier.

She was an insurance clerk technician at General American Life Insurance Co. of St. Louis from 1956 until her retirement in 1985. She was employed at Deaconness Hospital in St. Louis from 1951 to 1956.

She was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ, the LLL Class, the Friendship Circle, the Women's Fellowship and Church Women United. She was a former member of Trinity United Church of Christ in St. Louis.

Survivors are several nieces and nephews, including Mary Ann Statler of Millersville.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
