LOLA HEBENSTREIT

Lola Hebenstreit, 80, of St. Louis, died Thursday, March 9, 1995, at St. Anthony Medical Center in St. Louis County.

She was born March 11, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Cantonder and Julia Crites Pierce. She and Carl Hebenstreit were married in 1943 in Cape Girardeau. He died in 1969.

Hebenstreit was a 1932 graduate of Central High School, and had worked at shoe and garment factories here. She later worked eight years at The Mayor's Office on Aging in St. Louis. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Julietta Hebenstreit of St. Louis, Becky Dickey of Kirkwood, and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Gebken-Benz Funeral Home in St. Louis from 2-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
