SIKESTON -- Lola Fay Greer Miller, 80, of Sikeston, died Monday, April 3, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 8, 1914, in Salcedo, daughter of Sherman R. and Verbal E. Lands Turley. She and Emlus Greer were married May 13, 1933, at Canalou. He died Sept. 25, 1965. She later married Rulin L. "Bud" Miller March 15, 1970, in New Madrid County...

SIKESTON -- Lola Fay Greer Miller, 80, of Sikeston, died Monday, April 3, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 8, 1914, in Salcedo, daughter of Sherman R. and Verbal E. Lands Turley. She and Emlus Greer were married May 13, 1933, at Canalou. He died Sept. 25, 1965. She later married Rulin L. "Bud" Miller March 15, 1970, in New Madrid County.

Miller was a member of North Acres General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Otis Greer of Sikeston, Aubrey Greer of Lompoc, Calif., Johnny Greer of Morehouse; a brother, L.T. Turley of Sikeston; two sisters, Lorene Kearbey of Sikeston, Lela Tate of St. Charles; eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale McFarland officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
