BERNIE -- Lois Walls, 79, of Bernie died Saturday, March 4, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1920, at Portageville, the daughter of Lilbourn A. and Edith Morefield Gilbow.
She lived for 32 years in Michigan and moved back to Bernie in 1978. She retired from the Pontiac General Hospital and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bernie.
She and Vallie E. Walls were married on March 15, 1941, at New Madrid.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Walls of Dexter and Gary Walls of Ocean Springs, Miss.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends may call at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Jack Leathers officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
